Don’t Gamble When Stressed, Depressed or in Recovery .
Most people can gamble responsibly as if it were a form of recreation. When people gamble to escape life’s woes, the likelihood of it becoming habitual is high. Gambling is not a risk free activity and should be avoided when enduring personal health factors such as stress or depression. Those persons in recovery from other addictions should avoid gambling to reduce the risk of cross addiction.
